One of the most challenging tasks of the project was to fully explain to potential clients of the multiple services that Ayvri could offer. That Ayvri could handle the needs of a wide variety of customers while being at the same time a video map consumer platform with social feature.
It was very interesting to participate in this project due to the variety of interfaces. In this case, we are looking at the Studio, a tool created to enrich videos with images, captions, settings, and so on. It was a unique user paradigm compared to the rest of the platform.
Of course, the adaptation to mobile was included but the strategy didn’t follow mobile-first design methodologies. The idea was just to study responsiveness at this stage of the company.
The client didn’t ask for a design system, but I insisted. I believe in delivering scalable UIs and for that to happen we needed to save time to create a UI language that corresponded to the new brand.
Ayvri is an Australian-based startup and we wanted to have connections with the place where the technology was being built; this is how we found the Rainbow Lorikeet a bird that would give us the definitive color palette.
One of my favorite tasks was to create a set of illustrations that could symbolize all the activities that Ayvri provides.
The platform used to be called Doarama so there was a need to connect the technology and services provided by the company to its brand.More than 16 logos were designed, here you can see the two finalists.
